Thoughts from DC

Had a great conference in DC.  The gears in my head are still turning, trying to process it all.  It was a library conference.  The funny thing is that libraries and churches are running on parallel tracks.  Many of the same arguments used for churches to be relevent also ring true for today’s public libraries.  So many principles that was discussed this week can also be applied to the modern church.

The main idea: it’s not about stuff, it’s about people.  It’s about a culture shift, not a shiny new toy.
